A little-known deworming medication called fenbendazole (Panacur C) has become a hot topic in the cancer world after several success stories of patients using this treatment. The most famous of these success stories is Joe Tippens who was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer and given three months to live, but then started taking fenbendazole along with some additional supplements and completely eradicated his tumors from his body.
In vitro studies have shown that fenbendazole can suppress the growth of cancer cells. However, results from in-vitro studies rarely replicate when tested in animals or humans.
This study is the first of its kind to examine a potential relationship between fenbendazole and cancer among humans. The participants in this study were lung cancer patients who self-administered fenbendazole. The patients received information on the drug from social media sites and then purchased it and took it orally.
The research suggests that fenbendazole may inhibit the growth of cancer cells by disrupting microtubules, which are necessary for cellular processes like cell division and metabolizing sugar. It also shows that fenbendazole can be effective when used in conjunction with radiation and chemotherapy. However, further research is needed to validate these findings in large clinical trials. Until then, doctors should ask their patients about any self-administered medications or supplements they are taking and refer them to an oncologist if there is concern. This is especially important if the patient is already on any medical treatments for their cancer. fenbendazole stage 4 cancer
