Explosion Proof Ball Valve with Positioner
This is a high quality stainless steel smart valve positioner that is explosion proof and offers both linear and rotary type options. It can accept a 4-20mA input signal from a control system for the adjustment of the actuator to open and close the valve in a range from full open to fully closed. This positioner is suitable for most ANSI 150# flanged industrial control valves and can be mounted to both spring return and non-spring return pneumatic actuator configurations.
Electric actuated explosion proof V-ball valves provide superior throttling and shut off performance to traditional linear control valves for fluids with shearing, abrasive and solids handling characteristics. The patented Bray series 19 and 19L segmented valve design offers the shearing action of a knife gate valve, control characteristics of a globe valve, and the sealing performance of a ball valve in one highly adaptable rotary control valve for both on-off and modulating applications.
The explosion proof electric actuator is designed for quarter-turn operating applications such as control of small size ball valves (1″ and smaller), butterfly valves, plug valves, and dampers. WE weather-proof and XE explosion-proof models are available, with a choice of supply voltages, two-position or modulating operation, internal servo drive, opening signal position feedback, position indication, simple connection, and more.
